The key focus areas of JUST PEOPLE NOW, INC. (JPN) continue to be at-risk children and their families. Major areas of involvement include youth activities and community caring projects:
Back-to-school supplies and support for two adopted schools, Valmead and West Lenoir Elementary,
Holiday food baskets for needy families both in JPN’s adopted schools and in the community,
Emergency clothes closet for Valmead and West Lenoir,K-5 students,
Paper products and single-serve food items for Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care,
Promising Young Athletes’ Tennis Coaching program for aspiring students to learn non- traditional sports,
JPN’s signature Summer Youth Program(SYP), Breakfast & More… averaged over 45 students each day. In addition to healthy nutritious breakfasts and snacks, practical life-skill lessons, fun field trips and hands-on expressive arts and craft projects, students acquired a behind-the-wheel experience in a real race car. (Car 18-NASCAR Wheelen All-American Series).
SYP Interactive sessions:American Sign Language (ASL), the diverse roles of the Lenoir Police Department’s K-9 unit, and Book Reading just for fun.

features and discuss career opportunities.
JPN’s exceptional volunteer staff is the heart- beat of all of our efforts. We gratefully acknowledge the community members and the professional men and women who devoted countless hours to making our programs successful.
JUST PEOPLE NOW, INC appreciates donations from individuals, local businesses and corporate donors who have a heart for at-risk youth.
JPN continues to meet all of its obligations to the Internal Revenue Service to maintain its non-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable status.
Going forward, the Board of Directors continues to increase its community outreach by the addition of more youth oriented opportunities, education, and life experience programs.
